#2. Rolex. Perpetual Automatic.Looking a little bit closer the rust can be seen on the barrel. And more rust was to be found one the going train . With the escape wheel pivot being to far gone and having to be replaced .

#2 Finished Cartier 18 ct Automatic ETA 2000- 1This again was a splendid movement to service . there were timing issues from previous repairs that had not been fully resolved , and i really think that it was time for a complete service and at this point I had looked closely at the reversing wheels in the automatic and the mainspring its self .

It can be wound up by the main wheel that holds the spheres and will run for

I recently asked Jon to repair and service a grandfather clock made by my great grandfather in 1885 in Helston Cornwall. He has done a superb job and the clock is now running faultlessly and the face and hands have been cleaned and look brand new. We are delighted to hear the hourly chimes and the timeless tic toc. John completely refurbished my clock and I was very happy with the results , I was kept up to date step by step by John as he worked at my clock with reassurances and progress reports. He is now working his magic on two more clocks for me. I can't recommend him highly enough.
Very professional service in repairing our old clock, John goes the extra mile to ensure the clock is properly set up. Clock hasn't missed a beat since repair, you would think it was a quartz instead of a 100 year old movement.
I am delighted with the expert way in which Jon has restored my grandmother's Victorian (c1900) slate and marble mantle clock. I can never remember it going but Jon painstakingly took every piece of it apart and cleaned everything thoroughly, repaired what was broken, and polished and renewed the external case and decoration. It now has pride of place on our mantelpiece and keeps perfect time. I commend Jon for his meticulous work and thank him for his pleasant and efficient service.
